Compassionate Care

Pastoral Visit and Funeral Team
The Compassionate Care Ministry is our effort at St. Patrick to meet the needs of those who are going through illness, homebound due to immobility, struggling with grief following the death of a loved one.  Also needed are volunteers to be part of the Funeral Team.  In this area we need people who could help at funeral Masses on an on-call basis.  A police check is required to do pastoral visits.

Hospital Visit
If you or a member of your family are in the hospital and would like to receive communion or just have someone visit, please have someone make us aware and we will make arrangements to have someone see you.  A police check is required to make hospital visits.

Jail Ministry
Through the Legion of Mary or other volunteers, we will arrange to do a visit, either to bring communion if desired, or just to chat.  If you would like to be part of this ministry, please speak with someone in the office or at the Information Desk.  A police check is required in order to do visits.

Sick (Home) Visit
Matthew 25 – “When I was sick, you came to visit…”   Through the Compassionate Care Ministry, we will arrange to make a visit in the home, bringing Communion if desired.  Please let us know if a home visit is required.  We are looking for volunteers to further this ministry.  A police check is required to do home visits.
